Step 2: Consult the table below to determine your training requirements. Instructions for registering for training are below the chart.

Step 3: Register for training. You will get an email with information and links to register for in-person training classes. (Greeters will not need to register for any in-person training.)

- Client Coordinators will receive an email with a link to register for Client Coordinator training.
- Client Coordinators who wish to register for Basic Tax Law training send an email to volunteer@communitytaxaiddc.org.
- Greeters wishing to register for Client Coordinator or Basic Tax Law training send an email to volunteer@communitytaxaiddc.org
Step 5: Attend in-person classes as needed.
Step 6: Complete IRS Volunteer Standards of Conduct and IRS Intake & Interview training and exams as required for your role.
